J. Otto Seibold and Mr. Lunch Exhibit

The Contemporary Jewish Museum of San Francisco offers a new exhibit featuring the work of computer-based illustrator J. Otto Seibold. The exhibit includes artwork from Seibold’s Mr. Lunch series, written in collaboration with Vivian WalshMr. Lunch Takes a Plane Ride (Viking, 1993), Mr. Lunch Borrows a Canoe (1994) and Free Lunch (1996). Now out-of-print, the series follows the humorous adventures of the titular Jack Russell terrier. In addition to viewing original artwork and ephemera, visitors will also learn about Seibold’s creative process and explore interactive play areas.

Major support for The Contemporary Jewish Museum’s exhibitions and Jewish Peoplehood Programs comes from the Koret Foundation.
