Fantastic Rumpus: 50 Years of Children’s Book Illustration at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts
120 original illustrations by 31 prominent children’s book artists produced from 1963 onward will be on display at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts.
Each of the artists featured in the exhibit – including Mo Willems, Peter McCarty, Brian Selznick, and Ed Emberley, and many others – acknowledges the importance and influence of Maurice Sendak’s work. This exhibition was organized by the Appleton Museum of Art of the College of Central Florida, Ocala, Florida.
