ABC-CBC Speed Dating Lunch with Children’s Authors & Illustrators

Each year, the Children’s Book Council partners with the ABC Children’s Group at ABA on popular events at Book Expo America that give booksellers & librarians the opportunity to connect with children’s book creators over new and forthcoming titles.
At the Speed Dating Lunch, booksellers & librarians meet authors & illustrators in small groups for three-minute roundtable talks. We select both new and established authors and illustrators who have high energy, charisma, and the ability to make a great impression in a short amount of time.
This year’s author/illustrator attendees include:
David Arnold, Aaron Becker, Kendare Blake, Arthur Levine, Rich Lo, Jewell Parker Rhodes, Ridley Pearson, Ami Polonsky, Frank Viva, Lisa Yee, and more.
To register: tickets can be purchased through ABA at this link. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and include a boxed lunch.
