A Celebration of Walter Dean Myers at Symphony Space
Symphony Space will hold a memorial to honor the life and work of the late Walter Dean Myers’ (1937 – 2014). Led by his son Christopher Myers, children’s book writers who have been influenced by Walter Dean Myers, or who have been doing work in the same spirit, will gather to celebrate his legacy through readings and song.
