Schwartz & Wade Books Editoral & Design Intern

Schwartz & Wade Books, an imprint of Random House Children’s Books, is seeking an editorial and design intern for the summer.

About the internship:

Intern duties include reviewing unsolicited manuscripts, writing reader reports, scanning and mailing artwork, participating in dummy reviews, and providing general support for the department. We need someone who is organized and motivated, who works well in a team, and has strong writing skills. The internship provides a unique opportunity to see both the design and editorial sides of the picture book process, with an emphasis on editorial work.

The internship is three days a week, from May to August. Dates are flexible. To do the internship you MUST be able to get academic credit. Please send cover letter and resume to eseife@randomhouse.com. No phone calls please.
