Responsibilities will include reading and evaluating both solicited and unsolicited manuscripts, writing reader reports, drafting acquisitions paperwork, and providing general support with day-to-day operations for the department. An ideal candidate will be eager to both work hard and learn about the publishing process from manuscript to finished book. We are a busy department looking for someone who is organized, has strong writing skills, a love of reading, and the ability to multi task. An interest in children's publishing is a must. Bloomsbury is willing to work with candidates to meet their academic institution’s criteria for earning credit if applicable.
