Publicity Intern at Bloomsbury Children’s Books

 

Bloomsbury Children’s Books, an independent general interest trade publisher seeks interns with a strong interest in book publishing, outstanding communication skills, strong attention to detail and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. 

The current open intern position will assist the publicity department. This person should be willing to assist withall aspects of departmental duties in a responsible work environment.  Some of the responsibilities include collecting and filing reviews, assisting with review requests, managing in-house mailings and warehouse orders, creating media contact lists and various administrative tasks. Our interns are an integral part of the Bloomsbury team and will gain essential experience to help launch a career in publishing.

This position offers a $25 stipend per day and candidate must be available for at least 3 full days per week. Preferred candidates can start on or around January 2nd, 2013.
