Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing is seeking an Associate Marketing Manager/Marketing Manager to manage title-specific marketing campaigns for a wide array of children's titles: Teen, Middle-Grade and Picture Books. This position would be part of the team that executes marketing for 5 S&S imprints: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers, Atheneum Books for Young Readers, Margaret K. McElderry Books, Paula Wiseman Books, and Beach Lane Books. The ideal candidate is confident, organized and enthusiastic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates creation, implementation, and execution of assigned marketing campaigns
  • Works closely with various department to execute specific programs which may include content development, creation of flyers, brochures, and special mailings
  • Compiles and helps to communicate marketing plans to editors, authors, and agents

Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree
  • 4-6 years marketing experience preferably in publishing
  • Proficient in basic computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of basic HTML and Photoshop a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in social media platforms
