Requirements: The Associate Marketing Director position oversees 2 Managers and 1 Assistant on the title-specific marketing for Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers, Atheneum Books for Young Readers, Margaret K. McElderry Books, Paula Wiseman Books, and Beach Lane Books imprints. This person is responsible for developing marketing initiatives for teen, middle-grade and picture book titles. They manage the titled advertising budget across more than 300 titles covering promotional materials, advertising, displays, exempt coop, online marketing, warehouse costs, publicity and education/library expenses.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of experience in children's book publishing.
