Earlier this year, during the final mission of the Space Shuttle Discovery, astronaut Alvin Drew began a new program that he calls "Story Time in Space," which he hopes will be continued by other astronauts aboard the International Space Station. For his first reading in the program, he selected the Big Kid Science book Max Goes to the Moon, written by Jeffrey Bennett and illustrated by Alan Okamoto.
